Camping du Mettey is an eco-friendly campsite in the Vosges Mountains, within the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park. Our wooded, 5.5-hectare green campsite is on the edge of the forest, just 12 minutes from Gérardmer and La Bresse, and close to Alsace. An ideal location for exploring all the wonders of the Vosges Mountains !
Nestled in the lush Vosges Mountains, we’re committed to sharing our eco-friendly and sustainable philosophy. Camping du Mettey has 83 pitches (shaded or sunny) under trees or in clearings. Our glamping accommodations include eco-chalets (4/6 and 6/8 guests), lodges (comfortable log cabins, built by us!), a caravan (2 guests), and plenty of other atypical accommodations to get up close with nature.
Our natural swimming pool is a unique and fully eco-friendly bathing spot, naturally treated without chlorine.
Our shop features local and artisanal products: specialties that respect the ancestral traditions and know-how of the Vosges Mountains.
Our eco-friendly campsite also has a bar area, where you can take a break in the shade of a hundred-year-old oak or indoors.
Here, life is sweet, and the laughter is genuine, with a feeling of getting away from it all.
There’s also plenty of magnificent nature to explore in the Vosges Mountains, with waterfalls, forests, the creations of our craftsmen, and the treasures of our gastronomy! Simply head out on one of the hiking trails that start directly at our eco-friendly campsite or follow the path along the greenway.
Finally, to ensure a calm and safe environment for everyone, you’ll leave your car in the parking lot located at the entrance to Camping du Mettey.
